Are you a new or mid-level food professional ready to advance your career? Need advice on what to do next or how to best position your talents? Take advantage of our 1:1 career coaching sessions as part of your IFT Careers InFocus experience.

Join us for IFT’s Careers InFocus virtual event and career fair exploring the future of work and what you will need to know to prepare for the massive change ahead. This is a two day event held on Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 21st. Be ready. PRE-EVENT CAREER COACHING

When you register for a one-on-one career coaching session you receive an intensive 25 minute online session focusing on your unique needs so you get the advice you need to successfully map out your career search plan.

Sessions may include but are not limited to:

  • Resume review and advice
  • Career progression and advancement coaching
  • Discussions regarding your current role and opportunities

Moira McGrath is one of the experienced career coaches available at this year’s event. Moira is president of OPUS International, Inc., the company she founded in 1993. Moira and her team focus on placing scientists in the food science industry. Their clients are food and food ingredient manufacturers throughout the United States and Canada.

Moira is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. She has served or is serving on numerous food science advisory councils, including Cornell, UC Davis, University of Florida and Virginia Tech. She has also been actively involved with IFT, having served on the Board of Directors, the Nomination and Elections Committee, and is currently on the Certified Food Science Committee.
