They currently have a great opportunity for a Vice President – Engineering at their corporate location in the Northeast.

Job Description:

Provides the vision and direction for the future of the Company’s “to be” engineering processes and technologies, ensuring the Company maintains / advances their competitive advantages in key categories.  Critical in: developing and managing the overall capital spend budget, overseeing cost-reduction efforts to hit annual and long-term targets, ensuring manufacturing best practices such as CQV are in place, and ensuring plants deliver on product, process, packaging and cost parameters as defined

Major Responsibilities:

Develops and executes strategies that grow the Company’s manufacturing engineering capabilities and ensures delivery of EBR, Growth and ROCS projects through Company’s manufacturing facilities. (20%)
Develops 3-5 year capital plan based on business strategy and priorities and manages overall capital spend. (15%)
Integrates process concept design into Operations / Engineering plans. (10%)
Owner of overall CQV process. (20%)
Reviews TT&T needs to deliver start-up criteria.  (5%)
Agrees to design specs with PCT leader to deliver business needs. (5%)
Manages vendor relationships. (10%)
Builds high-performing manufacturing engineering team. (15%) (Recruiting , selection, development and retention.)

Required Experience:

BS / MS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or Food Engineering equivalent) required.
3 to 5 years of Process Engineering experience highly recommended.
3 to 5 years of Capital / Project Management experience highly recommended.
10 to 15 years of demonstrated results delivery in plant / manufacturing positions required.
Experience as a member or co-leader of PCT Business teams.  Able to deliver results in a multi-functional team environment.
Demonstrated performance in leading and developing engineering and manufacturing engineering talent.
Some global experience.
