Our client is a multifaceted company with over a quarter of a century history and rich tradition in the food ingredients industry. They are a multi-dimensional manufacturing enterprise dealing in proprietary, value-added food blends and a widely diverse range of ingredients. They seek a Documentation Specialist in their research center in St. Louis, MO.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance in quality documentation and labeling materials, manage the vendor documentation program, research regulatory requirements, and provide project management and technical support to internal customers. Responsible for formula addition revision review, Kosher and Halal submissions, PDS creation, customer documentation requests fulfillment, GMO/BE and other determinations.

Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, extensive computer knowledge with Microsoft products as well as SharePoint or other project management software (Kissflow, Qualtrax, etc.) and excellent time management skills. Applicants should have basic knowledge of QA procedures and programs in an industrial environment including HAACP, SOP’s GMP’s SQF or GFSI Programs. Must have a BS degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or other scientific degree. MS is a plus. Experience with USDA, FDA and Genesis Nutrition software is a plus.

Prefer a local candidate to the St. Louis area. All Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
