Our client is a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer of dairy and beverage products, with fifteen manufacturing plants in the US. Founded over 100 years ago, today they are one of the largest and most trusted food and beverage manufacturers in the United States. They seek a Project Engineering Manager in Upstate New York. This role requires 50% travel across their facilities along the East Coast (New York & New England Region)
Job Summary:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, industrial, or Electrical Engineering fields of study if applicable, or 7 – 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or Associate’s degree and 15 years related experience.
