They currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Director of Manufacturing to manage 4 USDA facilities, based in upstate NY.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement projects that drive growth.

Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement projects that drive costs out of the Supply Chain.

Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement projects that improve quality and safety.

Lead Major Initiatives or Projects to completion.

Implement corporate projects and programs into the Plants.

Evaluate potential acquisition candidates and make supply chain recommendations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Lead manufacturing team of Plant Managers to succeed in meeting priorities while upholding the vision, mission, and values of Rich Products, Corp.

Participate on the Supply Chain Leadership team

Develop and implement long term strategies for each manufacturing location and product line based on Sales & Marketing projections.

Establish an ongoing capacity review process as the business grows and changes.

Implement plans that optimize Human Resources and Capital Resources across the plants.

Challenge and implement Plant processes in order to improve productivity, lower costs, or improve quality.

Identify and evaluate opportunities to drive out costs across the Plants.

Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the Plants.

Key Operations gate keeper to work with Sales & Marketing to assess the feasibility of new product concepts.

Explore, propose, and lead the implementation of new process and packaging technology. Responsible for development and completion of IMO projects/plans.

Provide strong Project Management Skills for Divisional Projects.

Participate/Lead/Manage PMI directed projects (acquisitions, expansions, new programs, customer issues, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

7-10 year business experience

4 year technical degree (preferably in engineering discipline)

Strong PC skills Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Proven track record of leading cross functional project teams.

Solid grasp of manufacturing processes and systems.
